What mysteries lie in the mists?
As you stand amidst the vines and ferns, you hear the chittering, squaking, roaring, chirping and buzzing of thousands of different animals. It's going to be a long night.
A great misty jungle exists to the east of the Wyrm's Teeth, south of the Western Rainforest. There is a line of foothills dividing the two jungles, signalling the end of the cursed rainforest.
The jungle is teeming with wildlife of all shapes and sizes, making camping a tiresome experience. Of particular note are the dinosaurs, which exist in great number and variety throughout the area, and the insects, which are insiduous and carry disease.
Several tribal peoples live in the jungle which, interestingly, makes it one of the more highly populated regions.
Points of Interest[]
- Serpent's Ziggurat - A cluster of stepped pyramids and surrounding huts, once home to an aggressive tribe of yuan-ti.
- Orc Maker - An ancient temple containing a fountain that can turn people into half-orcs.
- Stepped Pyramid - A stepped pyramid, listed as taboo for the members of the Blackened Sun. Home to a tribe of primitive people.
- Drow Village - A village of tribal drow, who don't take kindly to visitors.
- Griss Twist - A lake, located somewhere to the west of the Drow Village.
- Elven Watchtowers - Two watchtowers stand at either end of this jungle; one held by drow natives, the other by the forces of the Dead Nation.
