The charming voice of the Blackened Sun.
The Chanticleer of the Blackened Sun was a changeling man who possesses the beautious facial aspects of both genders. He had a stirring, subtle voice, and was second-in-command at the Cathedral of the Blackened Sun, after the Fourth.
The Pathfinders have spoken to the Chanticleer once using magic and once in person at the Cathedral. Both times he appeared polite and good-natured. During the first conversation he invited the Pathfinders to come to the Cathedral and see the glory of his lord. During the second, he distracted the Pathfinders with polite conversation long enough to slip out through a secret passage and call a powerful undead guardian to do battle with the Pathfinders.
When the Pathfinders met him for the final time, he was found apparently leading a sermon in the Cathedral. Upon their entrance, he exclaimed that obviously it was the time, and led the assembled acolytes against them. He and his followers were quickly slain. It was shortly discovered that the majority of the forces of the Cathedral had been emptied, and that the Chanticleer and a handful of his followers had remained behind to distract the Pathfinders while the Disciples of The Necromancer laid waste to the town of Willowdale.
